Since I began my professional journey I’ve been lucky to have had the opportunity to collaborate on some exciting solo and collaborative projects. I take pride in all that I do and in the long-term relationships I’ve fostered in the process. I'm a member of Plumbers Local Union No One New York City, for approximately twenty years plus. Currently, I serve as a minor officer on the Examining Board of our Union.

JUNE 2017 - PRESENT

Tools & Tiaras was established because I wanted to inspire young girls and women about the amazing and lucrative careers available in the construction industry. Being empowered financially and emotionally can change a girls life, I'm the living breathing proof of that.

LEAN IN WOMEN IN TRADES

MAY 2017 -

Founder of Lean In Women In the Trades. At Lean In Women In Trades, we envision a building industry that includes women and truly reflects the diversity of our American Communities. Working together we can put the spotlight on tradeswomen highlighting the fact that, tradeswomen are working daily all around the world building the structures we inhabit and work in.

Working together as a unified front of sisters that mentors and support each other through the sometimes difficult journey of our plumbing careers. Our mission shows others the benefits of becoming a Union Plumber.

It was an honor being one of the featured speakers at the 2017 Makers " Be Bold " Conference. My speech highlighted the shift needed to change the perceptions that exist about gender roles in the construction industry.

L’Oréal Paris Woman of Worth 2023. Recognized me for my groundbreaking work as the founder of Tools & Tiaras, I am the first tradeswoman to receive this honor. My dedication to creating opportunities, fostering confidence, and proving that “jobs don’t have genders” embodies the essence of what it means to be a Woman of Worth.

CNN CHAMPIONS FOR CHANGEE

2020

In 2020, I was honored as a CNN Champion for Change for my work with Tools & Tiaras, empowering girls and women to pursue careers in the trades. This recognition affirmed my mission to prove that “jobs don’t have genders” and inspire lasting change.
